Living in Italy
Campus & Learning Environment
The festival and institute concept was born from the Consortium and CIMBA’s desire to give something back to the local community and the country that has hosted its programs since 1991. Since that time CIMBA has become the largest and most respected international study program in Italy, offering undergraduate and graduate programs aimed at professional school students in business and related areas at its campus in Paderno del Grappa, north of Venice.
The full-service campus includes classrooms, practice rooms, cafeteria, residence halls, computer labs, and modern athletic facilities. The campus offers students the experience of living in a small Italian community while enjoying convenient access to the celebrated cultural treasures of the Veneto, including the cities of Venice, Padua, Vicenza, Verona (and its summer opera) and Treviso. Courses are scheduled to encourage weekend travel. Convenient rail and air connections allow students to experience the varied cultures and history of Europe. Students returning from a Consortium program describe it as the highlight of their college careers.
